I’m interested in Carrara because I do animation in Daz using the poser models, I have poser but it is very temperamental and find Daz a lot more user friendly.
, but am finding the lack of anything but the most basic time line very limiting. I just wanted to know if people found it good for animation with the poser models or is it more or less the same as poser in the animating respect?
I don’t want to be forking out money if what I have will give the same results. I just have enough of it to blow J unfortunately

I suggest you download the demo from Daz3d and check it out yourself. One person's "easy" is another person's headache. OK, so nothing's ever easy for me. ;-) You can get the C5.1 Pro trial version from their "downloads" sections.

Ialora I agree with you on that, that one person’s eaay is another person’s headache, I didn’t realise there was a trial demo on Daz I had gone to the original Carrarra web site but it’s gone from there.
I had the demo before but could get the time at the time to relax enough between work and household chores to get a feel for it in the 30 days limit, as it is not the most visually pleasing space to work in. I wanted to have another go, it’s a bvit like falling off a bike working with programmes if you get back in the saddle you will eventually get to be able to ride that damn thing.
Thanks for replying to my enquire Davies and ialora and the info on the whereabouts of the demo.
Well done on giving up the ciggies as well
