In case you haven't noticed, the Peugeot 3D design contest is on again.

Aside from that, I travelled to Dracula's Castle today in what an interesting 400km trip. Had a Canadian friend visit for the past week and a half and I've been taking him places. Obviously I brought my camera with me so I'd like to share some of the shots. I'll give out more once I finish redoing my site, but I thought you'd all be interested in what the whole legend is about.

To be clear, this is the castle marketed as Dracula's. He only spent like one night in it. More than that, it's a bloody tourist trap if I've ever seen one. But it is kinda neat. So do go if you get the chance. It's called Bran Castle.

And if you get tired of that, you should visit a real castle, in the sense that you at least have something to see in it. It's called Peles and it's in Sinaia (same general region as Bran).

Really fantastic photos....sure beats all the strip malls that are going up around here like cancer cells out of control. That 400km was road time well spent.

Or the statue of Ken Curtus in Clovis which is about ten seconds from Fresno.

Are the paracutists the Flying Elvises by any chance?

Very interesting photos. Almost makes me wish I was there. But then I wouldn't be here to take care of everything I need to and the secret of the four golden coins would never be solved. Well someday I'll see it for myself - hope. In the meantime thanks again for sharing

Yeah well you're probably better off - after The Carol Burnette movie "Fresno" all the rich guys who wanted a "Juan" of their own moved here.
Now they have all the police protection and city improvements they use our old power transformers so we have power outages, wages have gone down and rents up.
Now everyone who's lived here for years is feeling the strain that "Juan" did in the movie.

Thanks Drac.  Those are some great pictures.   How are you enjoying Carrara?
