I'm looking at fast wide angles for fast action shots at night this fall and don't really know what to get.  I want 28mm or wider and f/2.8 or faster but there are so many choices!  Of course, I also want one that's cheap.  I've got a list of 16 Canon lenses that more or less meet my needs on eBay at the moment but I want to know if there are any lenses I should stay away from.  Is there a lens for Canons you guys would recommend?

I thought the "cheap" part might be a bugaboo in finding the right lens. Best wishes!  But with 16 already to choose from...maybe you got it.   Sorry, I don't use Canon and have little knowledge of what you need.  Someone likely knows here...
