im running low of hard drive space, and  i was wondering ? Can i compress a whole runtime ? With the python compress sript? Or Just certain parts of the runtime like just the Geometries ? Textures ? You get my point. So what can i compress  with the python compress sript? and still have poser work well?

thanks

Yes, you can compress the whole runtime with the python script.  You can also compress whole external runtimes with it.  Or you could just compress the geometries folder if that is all you want to do.

No, it won't compress the textures,  jpegs are already basically compressed fies
and if you change other formats such as bmps to jpegs then Poser won't
recognize them anymore.

It will compress the object files, character files, pose files, face files, hair files,
hand files, prop files, light files, camera files and material files.

Like any file it'll depend on its content just like using any .zip program. Obj and Cr2 you'll save quite a bit - Props with internal geometry also compress well. Hard drives are not so expensive now :)
