this is not a real coin. has lots of value from having silver plating and being hand made but you can not spend it. several wanted to see the whole coin

thanx mate....cool coin...

Once in a while I look around,
I see a sound
and try to write it down
Sometimes they come out very soft
Tinkling light sound
The Sun comes up again

Wow this is an awesome piece of art this man made!!  Even though it's not able to use as money it is a fortune in itself!! How wonderful!!

The way this has been cast, looks like the procedure goes back hundreds of years Richard and I think the base metal has reacted with the silver plating and that is what gives it that aged look.

In your closeup, I noticed some indentations, which I assumed were because the coin had been handled a lot.

From this I assumed it either had to be some kind of token, or currency and it is very interesting to note that it is a religious token.

I'm glad the purchase of your lens extensions has caused such an interest.

Thank you for the information.
