One solution that has been posted, pertaining to P5/6, is to create a barebones runtime and when you are ready to quit Poser, switch to it so it is the one that is used the next time you start up. Then switch to your regular runtime.
I must remember to remember what it was I had to remember.

I switched out the runtime but no differance infact it seems to load even slower now. I'll try the hardware forum but I doubt that will help it's not a hardware issue. No other programs give me problems. Thanks for the help.

the question is rather empty ... the amount of mem and cpu speed is only a part of the machine..
The amount of stuff already running before starting poser is importand and one tip i have for you is go check if your not infected by spy/ grey/ ad/ ware...
To run grafix thing smoothly you need to tune you computer when for example you run lots of games on it too the setting for the games can slowdown poser etc etc.. so i mean 1000's of things can make your poser go slow ... so a solution just with the info you give is not easy at all...
