When I try to change a cube into a building (right click the cube, "load object") I can only select 18 basic buildings from the architecture folder. I have purchased Vue 5, this is NOT the demo version. The tutorials have lots of building as does the demo version (although it says that you need to buy the full version to use them). Does anyone know where these buildings are?

Select File/Load Object/Architecture and you should see them.

I don't have Vue but suspect if the buildings you seek don't show up in the Architecture folder, then I personally would run the tutes [one at a time ..LOL] and save the buildings from the tute[s] to my Architecture folder for use outside of the tute...let me know if this works...
Once
in a while I look around,
I see
a sound
and
try to write it down
Sometimes
they come out very soft
Tinkling light sound

Sorry Irish but this doesn't work. I just keep getting the same boring 18 buildings

Tutorial you're reffereing to must be the one at e-on's. They might have used 3rd party objects to create the tutorial. I don't think it was said in the tutorial that Vue stock objects were used. Same for the poser import tutorial. The spider isn't part of Vue's objects.
I guess they just wanted to show how you can import one of your object to replace the cube for the final render.

Yep, I agree with Bruno - I looked at the tutorial you are talking about and the models shown are not ones that come as standard with Vue.
You can see that the folder structure is the tutorial makers personal folder, and that the models are imported from Lightwave and saved as vob format files.
The tutorial is just showing you how to replace a cube with an object in Vue.
