Hi guys! I just wonder how you can make the marked area "highlighted" ? I've checked the manual and applied different atmos (normal, volymetric, hdri) but that area remains out of control/ grey; nothing really important but I would like to know the effect of these shadow settings.  :-)

Have you tried clicking the ? in the corner.  That normally gives a lot more help than any other help program does.  I would look myself but am not at home right now.  Sorry

Thanks Rich; the ? brings up the whole online help option without specification; it can't give any tip.

To manipulate softness things you of course need softness settings - set a softness value different from zero and it will be active.

Uff - interesting question, something i learned right now when i tried to find an answer to your question. Thanks for that!

One day your ship comes in - but you're at the airport.

Many thanks wabe for solving the riddle! :-)  (Light softness --> Shadow softness)
