He is one of my favorite actors and would love to have a model of him. In fact, I am surprised ther is not already one. (At least I do not know of one.)

Attached Link: Brazen Movie Hero
I haven't seen a Bruce clone just yet, but Sixus1 has a package for Adam2 to get close to the Evil Dead look...Adam2 is free and the Brazen Hero is available for $0.99 until the 18th.
Crazy alien chick FTW! (yeah....right....)

I'd just take the standard male figure, find 2 pics of bruce online (one from the front and one from the side), use those to make his head in the face room, and then do any other miscellenious editing.

Do you know where you can find figures of celebrities? I need ones of Hayden Christensan, Ewan McGregor, and Liam Nelson. Ifyou haven't already guessed, its for a starwars fanfilm.

Do you plan on selling it or offering it as free? You could ust put it under free stuff right here in renderosity or in the scifi3d website. If you wanna sell it ill take a little longer, but i can still get u an answer.
Byrdie posted Fri, 11 August 2006 at 4:34 PM
Free, since it's a morph target only and I'm a beginner. I'd originally planned on doing a full package but I'm absolute pants at texturing people. Will probably need to make this into an INJ/REM pose if I can figure out how. Or maybe a fc2 file, would that work better? And is it okay to distribute? Was made using the Daz Male Character Morphs Bundle.

Here's a few steps to get your file on renderosity. SOrry if it's not INJ/rem. Im not on a computer that has poser right now. and this is the only way i remember how to do it trhough memory.
Steps 1, 2, and 3 you might know how to do but just in case.
Double click on Mike's head and make sure it's on properties. Then click load morph target, locate your obj file, and apply the morph (name it Nelson or something). Then go to Parameters, click on the Nelson morph, make sure it's on one so your head looks like Liam Nelson.
Click on your figure. Go 2 the library, and then poses. Click on the + button. Name your Pose.
Go find the pz2 file. It should be under runtime/library/pose. Copy your file. Go make a new folder called runtime and then put a folder called library in it and then put a library called pose in that and then paste the pz2 in. Go back to your new runtime folder, right click-->send to ---->compressed zip folder.
before you submit it anywhere, you need to have the file stored somewhere online. This site requires no money or registration and lets u host files. http://storeandserve.com/?gclid=CKHZgYDR2IYCFQR0NAodlyMW5g If there's something wrong with that link, just type storeandserve.com Follow the steps to upload ur zip file onto it and remember the URL. I'd also reccomend uploading a render of his head 2 be used as a thumbnail.
Go to renderosity free stuff. Click upload which is next to browse and search. There are several thigns you have to do. Maybe title it Qui Gon or Liam Nelson. Put in that you need Poser to run it. The system requirements doesn't have much importance. In your notes, you might wanna right you have to extract it to c/programfiles/poser6(or poser five or whatever). I'm guessing that it would be non-commercial, but im not to good with legal stuff. Type in the URL to your file and to the image.
And that's it.

Thanks. Will see if I can get it done over the weekend.
dvdcdr posted Fri, 11 August 2006 at 6:51 PM
I forgot one thing. I am not 100% sure if it will work on another computer without the OBJ model. You may want to put the original OBJ model of Liam Nelson in the zip file.
Byrdie posted Fri, 11 August 2006 at 6:57 PM
Dunno if that's allowed w/regard to the Daz Eula. Unless I encode it or something?

As far as our Bruce Campbell style stuff...we didn't do it dead on since that would be a IP violation that I am fairly sure would be persued if noticed. :)

From all accounts Bruce is a pretty cool dude and a supporter of his fans - very likely he'd give you the thumbs up for a digital likeness if you asked him.
This is his homesite, but it's currently getting upgraded or something:

I rented "Bubba Ho-Tep" the other day, am gonna go watch it now.

He really is a wonderful person. We are starting to watch Brisco COunty which was just released on DVD.
Byrdie posted Sat, 12 August 2006 at 3:48 PM
Okay, so I made the pose file using the above directions. Trouble is, it won't work without the OBJ file. Which I did NOT make in a modeller, it's a Poser-spawned morph target. Can somebody tell me whether or not something like that needs RTE encoding? It's utterly useless if you don't have M3 but I'd rather not take chances distributing it without knowing the rules.
And yes, I've read the Daz FAQs ... but I'm still not sure what to do with this guy in order to share him.
bigjobbie posted Sat, 12 August 2006 at 4:29 PM
If the obj is a morphed piece of M3's mesh (ie: his head) then you'll need to use rte encoder.
Cheers

What I thought. Will do, better safe than sorry. :-)
