Above link has a free download of googlearth. It is a neat global satellite imagery seach tool. There has been other threads here where everyone shared where they were from. Here's a chance to share your home place exactly. I think it may be fun.
If you don't have the free program, 1) download and install it, 2) find your home as closely as you please by placing the cursor on the globe and zooming in as close as you want, 3) note the exact global coordinates on bottom of the screen, 4) share those coordinates here so we all can visit you when we are released from the looney bin. For those heretics unwilling to have Bryster send a cruise missle to your living room, at least share a neighborhood or village.

Kool, looks like a place I'd like to live. Fish? So so. Too many fisherman now and fish are not growing as old and big as in years gone by.

Noice! Someone is going to have to setup a file with all these coordinates once everyone's posted.

Cohole, your coordinates don't pull anything up.
Mine are 30 33 12 47 N 98 25 33 35 W
The Google Earth photo was taken before the house was built, so it rather looks like I live under a tree, but there is actually a house there now.
My other place (which I will probably be selling soon) is at 32 42 43 13 N 117 10 08 25 W
I started a folder called "Brycers" with all the coordinates so far. It's fun to see where everyone is.

51°26'30.24"N 0°14'36.52"W................that's exactly how it comes up, and it works for me typing it exactly that way.

That worked for me. I was cutting and pasting, and the first way you noted it left Google a little confused.
You live on a golf course?? Or are you in the house to the right of the course? It looks like the street outside is a little busy, but not too. Is that a humongous Memorial Park across the street? What's Roehampton like?? Inquiring minds want to know.

chohole posted Tue, 22 August 2006 at 12:46 PM
I wondered if you would ask.......yes I live on a golf course, which is itself within the largest Fully Enclosed Park in Europe. If you move the screen southwards you will eventually come across the Park, which is 10 miles in circumference.
House came with the other half's job, he used to be the foreman of said Park. The golf course manager lives opposite.
The road is normally a whole lot busier than that, it is a major trunk route despite only being 2 lanes in each direction past us, and I am not certain when they would have found the road quite that empty, maybe early on a Sunday morning.
We live in the small square house, you can see our dk green car outside. Across the road is a cemetry and crematorium....like I said I don't have many close neighbours, well not live ones anyway.
Roehampton is a typical suburban small town (used to be a village years ago) with some modern high density housing a few tower blocks and some really nice houses in places. Not much in the way of shops.

If anyone who doesn't have access to googlearth would like to share with this crowd, you can guess-timate a location off any map that has longitude/lattitude grid.
