That sounds like fun but that drive from KC to St. Louis is boring and I avoid it as much as I can. Thanks for the thought.

sorry!, just wondering why you are looking to specifically make friends with people actually living in Kansas, as the whole point of this forum is for people from all over the world to get together and share their knowledge of the Poser software, both problems and solutions. your not very likely to ever get a good understanding of Poser by just communicating with people living in Kansas.
Also if you are intending to host poser parties in Kansas, if anyone else makes the same mistake as me, they might arrive expecting some/lots of chicken!! that could get expensive. but if you ask your questions here, and get worldwide feedback, you get no "providing enough chicken for your guests" costs, advice here is freeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!(though i am thinking of starting a "payment in chicken" scheme for advice given here!)

Sometimes its nice getting to know people who have like interests person to person. I find the internet at times very cold and inhuman.

Currently very far from home, in Spokane.
NE Kansas (Manhattan, Lawrence, KCK) still counts as home,
even though I probably won't get the chance to live there again.
Note to other readers: If you think of KC as a cowtown, you're
misestimating one of most graceful and elegant places on earth!

I also would love to be able to have a Poser get-together with people that I'll actually be able to meet. (Soon). I have a lotta friends from the UK and other countries, but chances are I'll be meeting those on the East Coast of the Grand Ol' U.S. of A. first.

I live in Lee's Summit. Great place, great schools. I have a daughter in 9th grade who has taken to Poser like some people to chicken.
