If you think of this one as "where on Earth" it might help you figure "What on Earth"...Easy if you've been there I suppose. And its not the guards box at Edinburgh Castle!

ReBorne posted Wed, 30 August 2006 at 6:12 PM

It wouldn't suprise me if you'd been hanging around a Guards Box......... snigger

Couldst this be Excalibur?

The Scots answer to the Hubble telescope ?

And every one said, 'If we only live,
We too will go to sea in a Sieve,---
To the hills of the Chankly Bore!'
Far and few, far and few, Are the lands where the Jumblies live;
Their heads are green, and their hands are blue, And they went to sea in a Sieve.

I see a book, a sandfish, and a lot of dirt with a little bit of sky. What it is I have no clue!

It looks like a sword...and a really straight spine...with a hanger and a wind sock...at Epcot.

LOL...I have ZERO idea!

No clue but someone doesn't seem very happy... Edit: it looks like a fan.

Question the question. Answer the question. Question the answer...

I wish I knew what I was gonna say :oP

I can't say exactly, but it kinda looks like a boat launch........ like there is almost a reflection of the boat in the water???? Wild guess!!!

It looks like the back of a boat that is underwater. Is that a tow rope with an anchor?

I kid-proofed my house but they STILL get in!!

Dynazty posted Thu, 31 August 2006 at 11:05 PM

a solar oven?

ReBorne posted Fri, 01 September 2006 at 12:27 AM

Ok, the way I see this is that it's the front of a boat, a longboat perhaps? on somewhere like the Norfolk Broads.  I reckon there was a pub near the side of the water, and someone walking or talking to the photographer.  Still haven't worked out what the skull on the silver thing would be for - unless..... OMG, Aangus is a pirate!!!!!!! aaaargh!!!!

A beach table?

aangus posted Fri, 01 September 2006 at 8:35 AM

Reborne I suppose your the closest because it is the front of a boat, and its quite long  but not quite right about the place, and I can't see a pub or a skull....and I'm a lover not a pirate!

odie posted Fri, 01 September 2006 at 10:10 AM

So... do we say congrats to Mike? He's got it the next WOE? Aangus, tell us more... Is this Venice? Who's boat? QUESTIONS, QUESTIONS! Time for answers. lol

I kid-proofed my house but they STILL get in!!

aangus posted Fri, 01 September 2006 at 11:20 AM

Sorry Odie,  yes its Venice and the gondola  belongs to...let me see....ah yes, Luigi of course!

I'd say Mikes WOE next.

ReBorne posted Fri, 01 September 2006 at 12:27 PM

YAY!!!! My first week back and I'm doubling up!!!!  Reminds me of a party.....erm cough not the time or the place......lol

The skulls are easy - check out the 'sword' thingy on the front.... there's 2 of 'em....

And if you turn the pic sideways (to the left) and look at what is then the top-left section, it looks like the refelction of a big old English pub is sitting there....lol..... ok, ok, if you try it you might not see it, but I do, ok?!? he he he..........

Damn, gonna have to get the brain cells working.....when do I have to post it?
