Have a look at the image, and tell me: left or right?

Thanks everyone :)

Maybe it's me, but I like the left one much better... the black at the bottom of the right gives it a "cramped" feel. Lou.

Left in my opinion.

right...

The left one. It looks more professional :)

Well if this is about the elephant then the left......

if it is about the education then the right......

if it is about the stinky part then the left.....

if it is about being a top of an animal then the right.....

If it is about you and your need to have an answer........  geee  I don't know....

Personally I would go for the right and go for some middle ground and make the black with some transparancy.

on the other hand.....if it's about height you could try a giraffe!

Left or an alternate background on the right as croowe suggested. Good job! Best; dan

chohole posted Fri, 01 September 2006 at 1:44 PM

How about a compromise and use the left, but edge the white text with black or have a black drop shadow, to make it stand out more.

Either one would work for me, but you need more of a margin on the sides -- you have the text too close to the edges.

Conniekat8 posted Fri, 01 September 2006 at 2:34 PM

Maybe you can make a compromise... something loosely based on this effect (see image I attached

That way you have a more uniform background so that the stands out and is legible, but it doesn't split the picture. Hopefully makes it flow little better. Mine is quck and dirty mockup, so the quality is poor, and you can choose a better looking brown or make other improvements.

I agree with what others said about the text, more margin would look good :)

I agree with previous response. The left version with a greater margin around the text, and a darker brown at the bottom would be best.

Thanks for the tips everyone, heres the new version.  Margins increased, spelling errors fixed, and a browny background for the bottom text.

The one on the left if you make the margin between the top of the text to the elephant the same as between the the bottom of the text to the bottom of the page.

Do'nt go anywhere near the one on the right!

...I swear the last two posts wer'nt there a minute ago!...

There you go!
