Hi,

I tried emailing the webmaster but I haven't gotten a reply yet. I have been having problems loading this site for days now. I can always pull up the main page just fine but when I click on certain items in the marketplace, the gallery or sometimes the forum I get an object not found page. Am I doing something wrong here?

BLeh I may not be able to get into the forum again to see the answer but I will try.

Thanks

First thing I'd try is clearing all my cookies, and temporary internet files, then log into the site again.

Also..try to list the browser(s) you are using,,as well as OS.and respective versions

Specifically...What are the "Certain Items" that are giving you the "object Not Found" pages?

These will probably be the first things the techs will ask you to do?

Hope this at least gets the troubleshooting started for you.

I'm using FIrefox on WIndows XP. I've tried clearing my cookies, the cache, and logging out and back in. I still get the same error page about Object not found. I tried to reply to this yesterday and I couldn't get into the forum. Most of the time I Can't pull up any items in the marketplace. I can't pull up freestuff or the gallery most of the times. I have no idea what the problem is.

Have you tried another browser?

Have you updated Firefox to it's latest version?

Also, check your Hosts file and make sure you don't have any entries for Renderosity in there.

Last year, a solution to a different problem for the site was to make a couple of entries in the Hosts file for Renderosity...but now those entries are not needed and cause the problem you are describing.

Hi,

Thank you so much for the help! it was the hosts file thing. I deleted the entries and now the entire site is working again. Funny thing is, I forgot what I was in such a hurry to buy from the marketplace. LOL
