Hello All, I have read through the past posts on the confusing topic of OSX Tiger compatibility with Poser 5. There are reports that it does not work and reports that it does. My questions is this, does it work with Tiger or not? Has any current Tiger users installed Poser 5 and have it running correctly? If so what did you do to get it to work, or did just work right after install? Should I waste my time trying to go through this download madness and get 5 or not? Thanks in advance for your response.

ask in mac forum here. it may or may not work, depending on many factors. since it's free now, it's worth the risk. it works o.k. in panther, anyway, if you can revert to that on an auxiliary drive.

I was able to get it to work in fits and starts using the OS9 memory hack. Still was not joyful -- frequent unexpected crashes. But then, getting the free Poser5 gets you a cheap upgrade to 6 anyhow. And also...I have run into enough other software (or other machines, like my venerable Powerbooks) that I thought it was worthwhile to get another copy of Jaguar....
