I've been looking for this program, but can't find it anywhere.  I seached the forums, all I found was a topic about a problem it had.  Sixus1's store is closed, and I can find any other reference to it.  I have a situation where I need to do a LOT of rendering, and I'm looking for a way to speed this up.  Any help and/or suggestions would be much appreciated.

PS:  I've already tried Shade 8.5, but it has problems of it's own.  I'd prefer to stick with Poser 'cause my pockets ain't deep...

Try sending sixus1 an IM here asking about it.

The one real drawback is that you need a full Poser license for each of the render nodes your going to use.

I'd recommend acquiring a free copy of Poser 5 (with its own license) from Content Paradise while the offer is still valid, but I don't know if Pose-Net will work with P5 yet.  Back in November, Eternl Knight mentioned he might look into that.

I actually have got it, I just haven't been able to DL because CP has been so busy...

Well, the traffic should start slacking off this weekend ... unless e-frontier extends the offer again.

I bought it.

I was given to understand that one does not need to have an installed version of Poser on the Pose-Net server machine.

I used two machines, my registered Poser 6 with Pose-Net client on the one, and the Pose-Net server on the other.

The server rendered my pictures with figure in default position only, not posed.

I contacted the the company that was helping to sell it that time ( the former Sixus1 ) and the author.  No solution worked.

I gave up on the thing, wrote off my money spent, and decided to move on with my life.

There was a problem caused by changes made in SR2 (see -> http://www.renderosity.com/mod/forumpro/showthread.php?message_id=2475562).
No indication that this was fixed in SR3, but there was a simple workaround, so I'm surprised that Pose-Net wasn't updated.

Thanks, will look that thread up and see what I can do.  Not a programmer so may make little sense of what to do for SR3.  Now away from home base, so will check it next week when I get back.
