need some help, after installing proser 6 on my pc, it automatically shuts the program down. What can i do to resolve this dilemma?

uninstall it from the control panel...add remove programs and try and install it again. close any programs before doing so. other than that i couldn't say.

If you have Quicktime installed try uninstalling it. This happened to me after installing Quicktime. I uninstalled Quicktime and Poser 6 worked again.

I had a problem with that too. I had to go into the preferences folder under Poser 6 and delete everything not in a folder. Then it worked.

Always be certain to have the latest drivers installed for your video card. What you describe is a classic symptom of old drivers with Poser 6.

And disable virus checkers while installing. Especially McAfee and Norton/Symantec have a tendency to interfere with installations.
