I am hoping that someone might be able to offer me advice or info on where to go for a good file hosting upload site? Perhaps someone knows of one that doesn't delete your file if there is long periods of inactivity or just deletes it after so many download? And help on this is appreciated thank you!

I can give you some here that I have bookmarked.
I know I like the ones that I do not have to give out any email address or sign up.
Even with the sign-up and register here your see at lots of the site you do not have to fill out.
Just check he size limit they let you upload. How long it will be hosted etc and then test a small upload to see how it works.
Guess at some sites if you sign up then you can keep track of all your uploads to the site so then that is something that would be nice.
Some are just image hosting site but they could be used for thumbnails.
