You need to apply the map to the transparency channel for your object. This is done differently depending on which version of Vue you are using.

chippwalters, I am including the image and the steps I have taken. I am using Vue 5 Infinite. First Image is the Function Editor. Please tell me how to do this. Thanks

chippwalters, Unfortunately, I don't got it yet. Everything that is white is supposed to be transparent so I don't know what I am doing wrong. Only the black is supposed to be left, like an alpha map. If someone has done this before please chime in here. Thanks

Delete the node that you have highlighted (leave the color node conected) and connect the transparancy tab (on the bottom tabs to the right of the color node) to the picture connected to the color node.
