How can i know apply the materials, is there a way to do that?

Either by applying a provided MAT pose to the figure or by going to the Surfaces tab and doing it by hand

Do you mean Poser 5/6 materials (MT5 or MC6 files)? In general, you can't - DAZ|Studio doesn't recognise those files, and won't read the shader tree section with the Material Room settings if you edit them (it's quite easy to edit an MC6 file to make it into a mat pose, but that will get you only the basic Poser 4/ProPack settings so it's not worth doing unless you come across an item that doesn't include settings for older Poser versions).
