Oki doki,

Feel free to laugh out loud but this is abit of a noobie question :(

I Do alot of rendering in Vue and Poser, after rendering i always feel l like my images are missing somthing. I'v tried soooooo many times to do touch ups and stuff in photoshop but i seriously cant get to grips with the brushes.

Id like to be able to add hair to my characters outside of poser cause some of the stuff iv seen people do with it looks very lifelike and effective, the same goes for lighting and atmosphere creation.

Iv seen alot of brushes for sale in the market place and id love to be able to use them, but i always seem to make a total meess with them, iv tried lots of different tutorials and stuff but never seem to get anywhere.

Any hints or tips would be appreciated, its somthing id really like to get into but im not having much luck :(

Ilona's Instant Hair .PSD layers would be a good alternative if you're having problems painting hair. I've used them in several images and have been very pleased with the results. I've attached a link to one of the packages in the MarketPlace. Good Luck!

I agree about ilonas instand hair. Also check out Ravnhearts Heavenly Hair brushes. They are awesome!! :)

I agree with Fyrene and Bushi. Painting hair in Photoshop can be a rather exhausting time especially if you are trying to do it with a mouse. Most of the hair painting tuts I have ran across are kind of ment to be used with a Drawing Tablet. Which is great saying you have the green to lay out for one of them like I don't. Hair brushes are definately the way to go....

antje also have a hair painting tutorial in the freestuff are....find that and you'll be painting hair in no time!

Antje's Hair Brushes are a great set of hair brushes if you are using a tablet.  A good piece of advice is to create a new layer for every different layer of the hair you paint....so when you go wrong you can delete just that layer and redo it.
