I am curious if there is any good tutorials for rigging in poser 5. I have a couple characters I made that wouldbe nice to rig.

I'm sure someone can provide a list of rigging tutorials. But my advice is to purchase the book, "Secrets of Figure Creation With Poser 5", by B.L. Render. The book and the included CD will explain in detail the methods used to rig a figure for Poser.

Search out Quinlor's site; he has a 'start with wings to finished' rigging tut. I made a stab at it, but suspect my model wasn't a single mesh like his. There's also some utilities that are supposed to do meshing, and there's also supposed to be a trick using character files (?) and renaming things.
Lot o' help that was..;) I had put in a similar thread about a month or 2 back; all the useful information is in there. You could also search for that. If there's a way to search on poster's names, that would be ideal.
And if you figure it out, please explain it to me..;) thanks.

heres one of the tuts i used dan-oi advise not tuse autogroup though. i also advise making your own bones, it's easier than resizing an existing set. what i did was play around with the boning tool till i could generate a rig. take one of the er figures into the set up room and and practices the way the bones are set up.
make sure your model has a name for every part you need to place a bone. when you create a bone name exactly as you you named the part. if you have an object file with all the named parts jusr import it and generate using the spawn probs button in grouping.
for me it was pretty much trial and error though i did get some good help from some kind people
