Where? All I found was a stupid squirrel, who treacled down more slowly than molasses does on a cold day in January.

Well, thanks to your links I finally found the DSU and Bonus Pack, but I've yet to find a skunk. Is this a REAL skunk, or a metaphorical one?
Also found an interesting Panzer tank with articualted tracks, not too sure what I'LL ever use it for ...(possibly for a render of Jewish Partisans killing Nazis), but still and all, an interesting model to add to my collection.

The skunk is the new weekly Poser freebie (linked on the front page), in case a hard refresh doesn't work, here's the direct link -> http://www.contentparadise.com/us/user/cp_skunk_product_24129

Found it. Hmmm, change its texture a bit, and it could pass for a possum (except for the tail), or a muskrat.

My wife thought it looked more like a badger.

Too bad it doesn't have hands like a raccoon, thein it could easily be included in renders of a urban milieu. According to experts, raccoons are some of the few North-American wiidlife that are actually thriving under the influence of expanding urbanization. Being opportunist par excellance, they have found the big cities to be not only rich sources of food supply, but that the city environment also provides a plethora of choices for shelter.
The only two creatures that seem to thrive better than the raccoon, is the rat and man himself.

The skunk is about as skunky as the otter was ottery. I don't know how they research these animals. They are too bizarre to use in realistic environments and not cartoonish enough to use in comics. Skunks do not have "great horrid gnashy claws like THAT!!" Somebody got them mixed up with his giant sloth.

I don't think it actually looks like a possum (have seem them IRL, or rather IDL, as most of them are spread across the blacktops of rural NC..;) but it could pass for several other mammals..;)
There are raccoons around here, but an uncomfortable number of them are rabid..and actually they're fairly dangerous if cornered. Still, maybe CP will make a raccoon one of these days.

The CP Squirrel was last week's freebie, so I don't know if it's still available. The skunk is located on the main page (scroll to the bottom).
Note: the skunk and squirrel were made by e-frontier, not Vanishing Point. ;)

Anybody besides me remember the story of Pres. Jimmy Carter and the 'Killer Rabbit'? For me, that was a real zinger!

I remember the killer rabbit incident. I can still see Jimmy flailing away with the paddle trying to keep the killer rabbit out of the boat. If Jimmy had his nuclear submarine with him, I bet he would have launched a trident missile at that evil bunny. I love that jagdpanther with the working tracks. I can sit and watch it for hours. You have a good idea about the partisans blowing it up and I would love to see that animation.
