Today's Space Protectorate Force: Boldly Going Where Angels Fear To Tread™
Not Just A Career, But An Adventure! Oh, And Here's Your Mop ....™
Two new conforming clothing items for Furrette 2.x, complete with full body morphs and MAT files for Poser 4/Artist, Pro Pack, P5, P6, and DAZ|Studio.
Lieutenant not included.
My thanks to Bill Redfern for permitting me to distribute this.
**
Fashion tip:**
The elbow- and knee-pads, belt, buckle, and those mysterious white patches on the vest are all separately-modeled mesh elements with their own materials. For added variety, they can be hidden with transparency, without leaving gaping holes in the underlying clothing.
The elbow- and knee-pads, in fact, are unique body parts, and can also be hidden simply by toggling their visibility off.
I created these items early this year, incidentally, so I'm afraid the UV-mapping isn't quite up to the same level as the sportswear.
I'll prepare a version of the uniform for Furraldo soon.

Makes me think of 'Ermma Felna' from Albedo. That comic made me love Furry art in the 1980s until I got online and discovered what most Furry fans where into :blushing: :scared: ...

Bill's comic, Freighter Tails, is clean and relatively non-traumatising. I can recommend a few dozen other "work-safe" furry comics, if you're interested.

The files are being mirrored at SpiritWolf448's website, if I run out of bandwidth:

Yep, Albedo got me into the Furry side of things. Hmm, OK, the Vest works well with Wardrobe Wizard. The catsuit does odd things.

Any chance of getting the goggles to go with the jumpsuit?

They weren't included in the zip file? They are certainly not so unique that I forbade LD to distribute them. (That would make me appear the cad!) Little_Dragon, I formally grant you permission to distribute the goggles as well.
Sincerely,
Bill

Didn't occur to me that anyone would want them.
Here you go:
Mzzkiti's Visor (289KB zip file)
The files are optimised for P5 / P6 / P7. They'll still work in DAZ|Studio and earlier versions of Poser, though you might need to tweak the material settings.
Poser 4/Artist users will also need to convert the bump map, although they're probably accustomed to that hassle by now.

Thanks for the goggles, Little_Dragon. As far as 'anyone wanting them' goes..I'd say that ANYTHING for your great Furrette/Furaldo models will go down well :)

I'm mostly finished refitting it to standard Furrette. Just need to tweak the bangs a bit, then create the head morphs and some additional textures, with corresponding MATs.

Hmm, odd, I got an e-bot yesterday evening stating a "Wallroo" had posted at 6:17 PM, but the post does not appear. I can only assume he (or she) decided to delete the post.
Oh, well...
So, how are people enjoying Little Dragon's craftmanship?

Sorry about that... I had said in an earlier post:
"Will there be a saffron version of that suit?"
I had deleted it realizing it was an old post.
Again, I apologize.
Redfern posted Fri, 21 March 2008 at 6:31 PM
No need for apologies. It was just something of a minor mystery.
By resurrecting this thread, maybe interested parties will see it and take advantage of Little Dragon's talents and generosity. Besides, it's fun to see how people make use of the Space Protectorate Force uniform. I think someone adapted it as a ski outfit.

Bill

Yay for Flo ! :) Now..if someone could just do Sam ?
AntoniaTiger posted Thu, 27 March 2008 at 6:17 AM
I'm sure I've seen a CGI image of Sam, somewhere. On a Wanted poster? I know, let's have a Furrette Day. Set somewhere around midsummer, to give folks time to do things. And all we Furrette fans try to create something. It could be a render--surely we can all manage that at least--but there are clothes, textures, poses, all sorts of other things. Think it'll work?
freyfaxi62 posted Thu, 27 March 2008 at 3:40 PM
"That sounds like a great idea. Poor old Furette has been rather quiete lately :)
