I've been using P6 for over a year now, but never uninstalled my copy of P5 because I've been using its runtime folder in P6 (and i had a lot of trouble with P6 at first).  Does anyone know if I can use windows to uninstall P5 without loosing my runtime folder?  Bassically, will it leave the files i've installed there myself and take alway the system files?  Thanks!

There are a coupl options;

A.) Move the runtime out of the Poser installation folder, before you  uninstall.  This should'nt bee too tough, becasue you would'nt be using any extra space, so as long as you do'nt move it too far it should take too, too, long.  In fact it might only take a second.

B.) Rename it to something unique, and it wo'nt be on the list of folders/files for the Uninstall program to delete.  Then just rename it Runtime, when the Uninstall is complete.

both good options... I also thought about making the folder read-only, i'm just wondering if anyone did this when they upgraded, and if poser's uninstall script had some overly ambitious measure to clean up any little thing it once used.
