When I downloaded the new Bryce 6 it came with preset files, content files, an app file, some samples, and the lighting file. A friend told me he read in the documentation that there is a "Bryce_6_full.exe" installer file that niether of us got. Have I missed something? Or is my friend mistaken? We're both curious because he's having problems communicating with Daz Studio and I've had a few crashes. Does anybody know anything about this?

Yup,..........I dunno about the "Full.exe" file,.......I had to install each file(i.e., content, presets, etc.) seperately,...........as far as the crashes,........if you're getting crashes with Poser or DS objects(applying mats, trans maps, etc.), I found that saving the object or figure as a Bryce6 .opb immediately after import, then applying mats is an ok workaround. I have found that there are a few bugs(causing crashes), but there are some workarounds for these problems, which is a hassle but hopefully Daz will address these soon. Hope this has been helpful.

The only installation that is absolutely required is the file that will install the base Bryce and Studio programs, which the name of that file has probably changed. Mine is called "br_ap006_Br6_App.exe"

Yep, that's what mine is too. So I guess that also installs Studio. Ok, cool. Just wanted to make sure I've got everything I'm supposed to have. Thanks!

It could be that there will be a single file installer on the CD release, but since the installers weigh in at over 400 meg, splitting them up was probably a good idea.
