Oooooh, it seems that these recent months the staff has a very good taste for the choice of the GoM ! This is totally deserved !
HUGE CONGRATULATIONS, CHARLES !
The last weeks I was kidding you with the names of your uploads (roman numbers!!!) but the quality of the pictures was still at a high level, even improving...
And what I do appreciate also a lot is your always perfectly fitted quotes under my pictures... your humor is a delight ! You are a great member of this "special" community !
Toutes mes félicitations, mon cher ami Helvète ! BRAVO !

Congrats Charles... just went again through your gallery and its amazing to see how you developed your very own style via time. I love especially those photos with a very diffenrent view on things, scenes others would walk by or wouldn't find them worth taking. So its always a pleasure to see a new focus on the world through your lense!

I enjoy your gallery very much and am always kept on my toes by your remarks or references to poems I haven't heard since childhood!. You have developed a real style of your own.

WHOOOOORAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY FOR CHARLES!!!!!
Much deserved GOM you are, you have a mighty fine and inspirational gallery. The team made indeed an excellent choice.
I just want to mention something that Michel said in his comment that I feel I can not ignore.
"Oooooh, it seems that these recent months the staff has a very good taste for the choice of the GoM"
I must admit I find these words rather insulting. They appear to imply that the Gom selections prior to the 'current' team, were somehow less than deserving of the honor.I think that is totally inappropriate and hurtful to those that were so named in the past. :glare:
My apologies Charles.I just couldn't let that slip by unaddressed . Huge congratulations once again. :thumbupboth:

Bravo Charles, I realise I pay much too little attention to your work. This way the excellent choice of the team is contributing to giving you your much deserved share!
Keep it up!

Congrats Charles.
It is always good to see the members get some spotlight.
I remember when the GOM was rather male dominated, so when a mod I wanted to see a sequential male/female pick from the membership.
I have seen a lot of happy faces for those who get the nomination.
Keep this going.
Very good point Andreas
