Not in Ohio anymore. Was born in Dayton but didn't settle back there.

I'm just to your left, in Indiana. My wife, while also from Indiana, is an OSU grad, which is about as close as we come.

I live in north central Ohio (Oberlin). BS and MS from OSU (PhD from U of Minnesota). Nice to see other Buckeye's. There are a few of us wandering around.

Oberlin, huh? Been there a couple of times. Can't remember why though..lol. I am in Medina, pretty boring around these parts. But yeah, HUGE OSU fans here. Both of my younger brothers went there and graduated recently. I was the oddball that went to the Art institute of Pitt...lmao...the blacksheep that I am.

Medina, hmm...Are you aware there is a SF&F gaming and art con (Con on the Cob) in Kent at the Quality Inn and Suites (on Route 43 right off of I-76) this weekend?

When my parents first moved from Donegal, Ireland in 1958 to the U.S. they lived in Zanesville then ended up in Dayton where my mom's brothers followed later. One of my uncles worked for NCR until he retired and another uncle worked for Frigidaire/Delco Light Company/General Motors and retired. I was born at Miami Valley hospital two years later. Then two years after that we moved to Florida. Last time I was in Ohio was a year ago. I think a club is in order the buckeye poser club!
chachi posted Fri, 03 November 2006 at 2:51 PM
Just a Poser Ohio club? lol......I think there are few of us to do just a Renderosity Ohio club. Who konws......just an idea. Be cool to find local artists. I don't know of any around here other than my buddy and business partner.

lol, in my house, if you're a Wolverines fan, you have to be "in the closet" My da graduated from OSU, and every Saturday, we watch them on t.v...........even if they're not playing. DVR is the bane of my existence, LOL.

I was born in Michigan, and my family is here, that's why. But the economy is so bad a lot of people are moving. No jobs here at all.

Hi All:
I am new to this forum but I have lived in Parma, Ohio all my adult life (never mind how long that is: it's long enough!). Before that I came here from County Wicklow, Ireland. Seems to be a lot of us Irish-Ohioans here!
