I noticed that the gallery stats at the bottom of my gallery pages have completely disappeared. Before jumping into conclusions or assumptions, has this happened to other members too? Or is it just a problem I can solve personally? Another thing: I uploaded an image today, but decided to remove it quickly, and upload another one. Until now, I've never had a problem with that. Now I get the message that I've reached my maximum uploads for today. That's the first time... So, no upload from me today..? Or is there a solution? Is RR behaving strangely..?

The stats have been disabled temporarily...
You can usually find answers to questions like this in the Community Center Forum..
As for the uploads..It's been that way for quite a while..
It's not really fair, but it's the way it is..

Thanks Bruce, I'm glad it's not me that's behaving (more) weird (than usual) ;o)) But the uploads thingy: I removed an image and uploaded a new one the same day, only last Monday... so that's not 'quite a while'... So how come that's changed now, I wonder... Anyway, if there's nothing to do about it, you might as well take this thread down... I'll just sit it out, no big deal.

If I upload the wrong image, I use the edit function under the image itself to replace the one I uploaded, not delete the image and attempt a new upload. I then do a hard refresh to see the replaced image.
This has worked for me in the past; I haven't tried it lately.
Yes, my stats are gone as well. I don't know why something like that would have an impact on site performance. If they really wanted to improve performance they should consider getting rid of the recently viewed section. I find it annoying and can find no practical use for it. Oh, and perhaps delete the 200,000 inactive user accounts which no doubt exist.

Good point removing the recently viewed. I think that would bring a lot of performance up, not having to carry bandwidth for thumbnails too.
I used to explain many times to members to use edit instead of deleting. Usually too late by the time however.

Well i have deleted images in the past to replace it with another straight away. Then i deleted cookies and there the new image was.

I know Chris... Actually I just had a member asking me aboiut this 2 days ago, and they were always able to delete and then re upload with no problems.
I just remember long time before deleting and trying to upload again resulted in the loss of the image for that day.

The "What's New" thing in the galleries is probly the biggest annoyance. 1, click Galleries 2, scroll down 3, scroll up 4 click (eye)browse. I hateitHateItHateIteeeeeee...(kerplunk[my head hurtz]). like dey sey: put the bucket under the cows udder. (the cows udder what?)
