While I love fantasy stuff, could I ask a favor that you inform people that this is a QuickTime file? I don't have QuickTime installed on this computer and wouldn't install the program so I'm unable to see the trailer.

Thanks for the link. I loved reading the first two books and I am trying to find the third. I hope it comes out before the movie.

I feel the same way about RealPlayer.
Have you considered installing QuickTime Alternative Lite, instead?

I liked the books, more so when I found out kid wrote them. I've been following the progress of the film and it seems like a nice diversion this winter. The one thing I didn't like, and I hope it's not this way in the movie, is when I tried a demo of the game for the PS2, the musical score had brass of the Lord of the Rings soundtrack (the parts where Uruks show up). It was intermixed with other music and the game sounds themselves but anyone who've seen the films would have picked up on it. That upset me, as I've tried in the past to explain to folks that Eragon isn't trying to be TLOTR, it's got it's own mythos even if it borrows from old ideas...only to have the music clipped (for the game only I hope). Ugh. Ah well, I'll still see it, ILM did some interesting things with the dragons this go around.

I always had issues with Quicktime interfering with Poser so got rid of it, I have Realplayer 10 and that is able to play Qucktime files without the interference!
Cool movie!!
Injustice will be avenged.
