I have a scene, with a character in a shot. Character is in a couch. So I take a shot from the front, where the lights are hitting the character so you can see him well. But then i want to take other shots: One from the rear, one from the side and so on. In reality, just as poser, the lights hit an object from one side and then the side that is not hit with light is dark. However, for posing, i need at least a change of light cause sometimes in poser, the front is lit good and it looks awesome but if you go to the rear, it looks so ugly cause the poser lights just don't create a good darkness. ( ex. some portrait lights i have make the scene look great, but go to the rear sid eof the character and it looks reddish kind of scary looking ) The light i apply is one of those that has colored lights but then it has a bunch( 12 or more all piled up around the white sphere) of black lights too( LIghts i have downloaded from renderosity and Runtime DNA )So it's pretty hard to move them aroundone by one and even if i try, these lights don't move..they are locked. I was wondering if there is a way to rotate the entire light sphere so that the small lights all move with it and i can make the lighting good for the rear of the character, WITHOUT having to rotate all the objects and character to so that for my REAR shot, they get lit too. I know one trick that might work, but it would require multiple copies of the file. don't light anything in a file.. then save multiple copies with the objects rotated as needed so that the light willl hit it just as you need. But there should be an easier way. All i need is to rotate the White Sphere that holds all the lights, so that i can light my things even if i move the camera on a different angle. possible ?
