you have to. apo gives an error message saying "your version has expired. go to sourceforge.net to download the latest version".
as of yesterday for me.

really? the render i did last night took considerably less time than usual for the image size and quality. or did you mean the preview time, cause i think that got a little slower.

The internal render engine has been given a really good overhaul... and it uses less memory too!
The preview time can be a little slow depending on what variations you have selected - Ngon is a bit of a slowpoke - but well worth the wait... lol!
