I sure hope this is the right place, I clicked on the "wish list" link and got the main forum page again, but here we go....
My wish
When using BVH motions the shoulders are usually way too low (or high) for example. I'd like to see a script that would select a body part and apply a setting that would adjust the geometry and keep the little movements intact. So a Collar would look best starting at +4 but the BVH loads at -10, I pop in a script to dial all the collar movements up by X amount.

Here's mine: a script that would take as input a character that has body parts scaled, calculate joint positions and whatnot, then output a new character and obj wherein the mesh is a different size than the original, and all body parts are now scaled to 100%. Manual conversion of such characters is tedious and annoying, and posing them as is is can yield less than desirable results.

I'm looking for the one that moves the files from the Gradient Bump Node to the Bump Node.  I know it's out there somewhere, but I can't seem to locate.

See linked thread.
I haven't tried these in P7 yet, so could you add a post to the thread if they are OK.

Hi!

The link in the first post is not working for me.

If you're the one who created the script, then I would say Thank You!  You have saved my sanity on more than one occassion with that script.  The entire community owes you!  If I can figure out why the link is not working for me, I'd be happy to test it in P7 for you.  Just got it yesterday and got it installed and running, but haven't really had time to play yet.  Recovering from hard drive failure, so in the process of reinstalling stuff.

I've posted updated links to the original threads.

Thank you so very much!  I will test in Poser 7.

My personal wish (which is also in time, as tomorrow it's Christmas!) is for a Python script capable to "pass" all Full Body Morph dial values to their relative partial body morphs (i.e.: a figure with the "muscular" FBM set to 1 would have all its body parts with "pbm-muscular" set to 1, while the FBM would take 0); then the script would spawn a new body morph in all body parts and set it to 1. This would both speed up figure modeling and allow for a lesser size in characters, as a single body morph would "carry" the modifications wanted and then all the others could be removed (i.e.: if I created a character which has muscular=1, fairy=0.5 and barbarian=0.2, one single morph would take their place and I could REM the three morphs). I don't know if there's something that does this, but it would surely be nice. Merry Christmas to everybody! hirumono
