Sorry to be repeating this cry for help in here but I'm getting no reply in the Poser forum and my message has almost vanished into old message space over there.
Besides, it IS Bryce related.
The question:
I have a figure I'm using for part of my college animated short film, - the P5 Casual boy. But I cannot get him into a Bryce scene WITH hair - plus when he appears in Bryce6, there's an odd whitish band around his neck, as if he's been in the sun with a dog collar on. This band is not there in Poser5. (P.S. Poser5 is all I have)
Is there ANY hair that will show up in Bryce6??? and fit this boy?
Help?????
And how can I get rid of that pale band?
Help, help, help???

as I understand it, it sounds like you're trying to use Dynamic hair with Bryce. To my (very limited..;) knowledge, it won't import easily into Bryce (at least 5 and 5.5). I think it doesn't import at all, but I think there's a way to do it that I don't know about. It just doesn't show up.
the physical model-type hair (the ugly stuff) that's an actual object will import. You might be able to use one of those, then go in the Material room, and use some of the hair textures (there are some at Runtime DNA, as I recall).
hope that helps

Well try taking the hair finding the transparency map for it. Then se t the transparency properties to blended. For the neck thing try selecting that area by itself and check wha tthe texture looks liek set the abience to zero hope that will help. Been a long time since I put a poser fig in Bryce. (although I too have the free poser 5)
