I was wondering...
Has anyone tried to import 3D objects created in a home design program? I want to build a suburban middle class neighborhood and the subject matter is too boring for most modelers so I'm thinking if I can get a "Plan a Home" type of program to build my street and import it into Poser 6 it will save a huge amount of time. I'm working on a Christmas animation so I need to take a few shortcuts. Anyway just wondering
Thanks

If they can export wavefront obj format they should work. But if they use more then 4 point polys you could have issues, and odds are you wouldn;t have uv mapped surfaces, so you'd be uv mapping and surfacing a LOT of parts.
If it was that simple, you'd see a HUGE number of products produced by something like that.
Way too many people take way too many things way too seriously.
