I wonder if V4 is about to make an appearance. I can only get to the first page at Daz and then get a critical error message. I'll be watching...of course it could just be my connection, but I'm not having trouble getting anywhere else.

I can't get there either. It might be just a router down. Or maybe they are doing site maintenance.

I guess they must be doing something big, because I can't get into there either.
Hope it's what we think it is;-)

It doesn't work for me either - I can only think it is V4 . . . .they are getting ready to launch.
Any word on M4?
Victoria_Lee posted Wed, 29 November 2006 at 10:14 AM
I can't get in at all - load times out with nothing but a white screen. I hope it's for V4.

e-machines? Let's not be rude now!!
I'm over at the DAZ forums quite a bit and I'm pretty sure they are setting up V4 and probably the new version of DAZ Studio as well. I did manage to get in to read one post this am and then tried to go to the main forum and poof "could not connect" notice. So I would give it a little while more.
Can't wait myself. Gotta see what she's all about!!

Hey addy, well you know we are ALL in different places, so you might be asleep and I'm doing my thing fully awakey! So you must be sleep deprived by now because I'm only up for a little over an hour now. It's 8:35 AM here in Redwood City, California!

Yeah I noticed them both down when I started looking for some Persian/Arabian clothing for David or Hiro for an image I'm working on. DANG! Now THAT is bad timing! LOL
Dead_Reckoning posted Wed, 29 November 2006 at 10:39 AM
Same here as well.
I cannot get in to Daz at all.
I was able to get in around 0630 EST, now absolutely nothing.
I cannot get in at all to Content Paradise eFrontier as well - load times out with nothing but a white screen
Imagine if between them they release Poser 7SE, DS 1.4.x.x and V4?????????
Couple that with the millions that now Shop On Line for Xmas??????????
Hopefully Poserdom Content will not come to it's knees.
Rosity, Rdna, 3DC, PoserPros, PoserWorld all seem to work as always.

It's only 5pm here and it's black and cold outside, burrrr!! Winters nice as long as I don't have to go out in it..
All these sites dragging out new releases is draining my enthusiasm.
Perhaps I should just get another lover instead, at least they might arrive in a timely fashion  :tongue1:

What's on the CD:
Includes quality content from some of the leading content providers in the Poser community, including the following wonderful goodies for you to add to your Poser scenes:
Aset Arts, a group of seasoned and talented artists that have created Poser content for eFrontier, DAZ, Renderosity, and other popular Poser sites, share several articles of clothing and textures. Arien (whose texturing skills are featured in several chapters of this book) includes textures for both the Djinni outfit and the Crafted Swordsman. Deecey shares her Booties for Jessi, Terai Yuki 2, Miki 1 and Kate, with their base textures. Luthbel contributes The Crafted Swordsman, a wonderful fantasy outfit for Aiko 3.
DAZ3D (http://www.daz3d.com) shares PC and Macintosh-compatible versions of several Poser figures, including the Toon Bot Chomper, Aiko 3.0 Base (including textures, Mimic phoneme morphs, hair style, poses, and so on); Civil Servant for Aiko 3; and the Toonimal Vulture, Bat, and Lemur.
E-Frontier (http://www.e-frontier.com), makers of Poser 7 and Shade 8 have been a tremendous source of encouragement and content for this project. We thank them for their wonderful selection of poseable figures: the Dino Pack Version 1 and Koji Version 1.
Fredrik, a favorite of many who frequent the Poser communities, shares a wonderful outfit for Aiko 3: His Djinni belly dancing outfit is sure to please users of the DAZ Aiko 3 figure.
Linda White includes original photographs for the tutorials in the lighting chapter.
PhilC (Phil Cooke) shares a copy of his unique and practical female figure, KISS. You can find out more about this figure at Phil's web site, http://www.philc.net. This folder also includes a web page with a great animation tutorial video prepared by Phil (see animation1.htm).
No Apollo, I'm afraid. 8-(
Now ... back to the speculation about what is going on! LOL I am glad I ordered my P7 upgrade last night! LOL

I purchased ApolloMaximus when he came out.
Very much like you, I am hoping that Denise puts AM Le on the CD again this time.
As far as I know, this is the only source to obtain ApolloMax these days.

Anybody able to access the e-frontier site lately? Mebbe this is this that part of the century when they've finally decided to shuddup and release that damn version 7 they've been blathering about for weeks? Sorry hope I dont sound sardonic!

Actually in the Apollo forums at CP Carodan created a new character using Apollo. Apollina! She looks very good too. He created some very nice breast morphs. y'all should go check her out while we are all waiting!! Since Wardrobe Wizard supports Apollo fitting clothing to her might be possible!!

Thanks you very much for the information Denise
Not only do we get your excellant book, but quite an impressive list of things on the CD.
As RamWolff said, I guess this dashes any hope of ApolloMax surviving.
I am sooo glad I Pre-Ordered the Poser 7SE "Boxed" version.
Lol - Now all I have to wait for is the Mailman.
Rastcloset said the problem at the moment is:
There is an issue with the DNS Lookup due to problems outside of
CP/e-frontier.
You were so correct in not waiting to order until the last moment.

Well, both Content Paradise and E-Frontier are down...I'm really going to be depressed if they end the pre-order, cause I'll have enough on my credit card on Friday to grab it. Cross your fingers with me, that they won't announce or release until at least Monday!! I want the upgrade with the bonus package, not just the upgrade. :scared: yeah, yeah, I know...boo hoo me! hahaha
As for Apollo, I went to the designer's website and basically he said Apollo is retired for good. I won't go into any details since it envolves too many factors that I'm not going to be put in the middle of by giving info off of his site...cause I don't know the whole story of the "war" going on.
