For those who don't read the Artmatic forum, here is a post for a wonderful website with the most interesting animations. Each frame looks like a HDRI IBL render with loads of detail. Many elements moving at differing speeds - needs to be seen to be appreciated. I was impressed to say the least. This could be done using Bryce 6, but I imagine a high-end app was involved...

Takes a while to load for those with slower connections, but worth the wait. :-)

I just found this animated website. It has nothing to do with Artmatic, but it is fantastically done!

Well, no surprise there, it looks like they got their inspiration from Miazaki's "Howls moving Castle". Maybe not his best movie, but you can't blame the techniques used.

Did you check out the web cam shots?

Didn't you know that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. That's why eyedrops and rose-colored glasses are needed.

On the second animation, which you get to by clicking the tortoise/castle thingy, many of the elements have popup additional stuff promoting the company which made this stuff.  All in Japanese however...
