I gave up reading the front page. For a while there every week had an obituary on it. I'm too sensitive and can't deal with stuff like that because it upsets me for days, so now I don't bother reading the front page at all anymore.

Fortunately, we haven't had any such notices for a while.  Understandable that it can be upsetting for some.  For various other reasons, many folks don't check the Front Page and/or subscribe to the newsletter.  That's why we try to also post a notice of articles of major interest in the forums.  I'll go post a sticky about the Xmas give away right now.

Any way of knowing what the item is for before downloading? Don't want to sound ungrateful, just don't want to download something that I don't have the original product to use it with.

Actually, if you look closely at the thumbnails, the product they are for is labeled.  Like A3=Aiko3, V3=Victoria3, etc.

I know what A3 and V3 and so on means. The thumbs are so small, it is hard to read. There is one that say it is a texture for some type of clothing, can't make it out. As I said, I don't want to download something I don't have the original item for.

Ah!!  I know why I didn't notice it...and probably a lot of others as well.  The promo pic for the Give away and the art contest are the same Santa graphic.  Sneaky sneaky! :glare:
