"MIXED" Emotions. *please view it large*

valcali posted Wed, 06 December 2006 at 2:12 PM

Wow...you really have alot of emotions going on there. I've been going through alot of my family shots since if you're looking for emotion family is the place to start! I asked hubby to show me some emotions and took some shots but they turned out more comical than anything else! LOL This is a really interesting subject. ;o)

woopsie here is the shot = trigger happy i am.

TomDart posted Thu, 07 December 2006 at 9:04 PM

This is not a particularily good shot...but it does show, from the animals point of view perhaps..*cared about*..as an emotion perhaps *"warm inside",* from needed attention.  Sure, these are not the official names of emotions.  How else to describe a motel kitty who gets a loving pet for a moment, not knowing if the next person is kind or mean to animals.

This one got lots of petting and responded as shown. And..a bowl of fresh food.   TomDart.

valcali posted Fri, 08 December 2006 at 1:24 PM

Hi Lou, those are some great pictures. Children are so open with their emotions and what is it with boys and that look. Here's one of my grandson being sulky/angry. ;o)

This one is a combination of two shots that I took in parallel at the same location. Jealousy and spite might be an apt title. The girl on the left wanted the ride soo bad - and the boy to the right was teasing because he got it...

OK, I admit this is pushing the limits. Considering all the wonderful photos in this thread I almost hesitate to go so far overboard.

Emotions:  BAD HAIR DAY.   The ladies will have to tell me what the emotion is.  This is only the results of an extreme bad hair day.

If too wacky for the challenge, please dismiss as simply wacky.

Peace to all and ladies, have a good hair day!        TomDart.

Kirk_1962 posted Sun, 10 December 2006 at 2:46 PM

can I try this?

sorry.. I don't familar with the rules..
MG

TomDart posted Sun, 10 December 2006 at 3:55 PM

Kirk, very nice shot and sure you can try it! I am glad you did.  The general rules are to take the shot the same month as the challenge, two entries per person. However, since recently going to the "thread" presentation,  the rule of two has relaxed and some folks will post more images.    No one seems to object to that!

The idea behind the challenge is to push each of us a bit to do a photo on a specific subject, intrepreted as we might in content and pov.   Some challenges in the past have been very challenging and flatout difficut!  All have benefited from this overall, in my opinion.

Considering my very lame entries a third one will be needed from me when and if I find some visual emotion...  : )         Welcome.        TomDart.
