I didn't realize it was a contest... thought it was just a challenge. Anyway I've put several entries up... it's been a great way for my to expand on my limited modeling skills. (my entries are under 3dMuse for anyone wondering)

Some fun stuff, enimaticredfrog!
I think it is more of a challenge, in that the only prize (that I could find) is being displayed on the home page. The main problem in my view is that the top rated tend to get most views and therefore most votes. If you don't get a good rating early on then you drop quite quickly and don't stand much chance of rising to the top.
Here's a link to the Carrara entries:

Thanks... thanks for the link as well.
I totally agree with you. Esp since they have the default gallery by rating. When I go in I change it to look at newest first... but oh well. For me it's just fun to expand my knowledge base.

Some awesome posts at CGSphere!...do need a little help with scene set- up, though.
Apparently I can't use the supplied scene >.car file with Carrara 4 pro for some reason.
Aytone have the scene/camera specs for their submitted renders...just can't quite get the rendered scene to match up with the template! Thats a biggie with submissions! Any help or advice would be appreciated!...thanks....Mark

Hi dj, The template looks like it was made with Carrara v5 which is why it won't play with C4 :-( However, Anotine Clappier's submissions were rendered with C4 so I don't know if he went into a text editor an changed the file - he has the expertise to do it. :D I've downloaded the files over a month ago and am still trying to find time to make a submission myself!
