For things like the running shoes, when you use UVMapper to make a bitmap, the pieces of the shoe are all over the place. When you use it in Poser, do you just tell all the pieces of shoe to look at the same bitmap, and it will sort out the rest?

If you save the 'new' texture map from UV Mapper and its different from the original map (if you have decided you want to map it differently, say cylindrical or planar or whatever), then you also have to change the .obj to the 'new'. However, if you are using UV mapper just to create a template and you have just loaded the .obj for the item, then it will read the map 'as is'. That is--save the template, use it for creating the texture and then when you want to use that new texture map, just point to it from Poser and, yes, it will read it correctly. The easiest way is to click the 'use texture map for all'--or whatever it says--something similar to that. Hope this helps and doesn't further confuse you S. Diane
