But it isn't "Ruby Tuesday" yet - remember, that was the previous release date under Cooper's reign. Anyways, today (December 7) is the 65th aniversay of the bombing of Pearl Harbor, a day that will live in infamy. I seriously doubt DAZ would be so gauche as to pull that on this date.

... with flashing purple neon spots that spell "prankster".
Don't worry, they'll disappear by the time Poser 9 and Victoria 6 are released ... if you're lucky. ;-p

It may be a prank, but it was one with a decided lack of creativity, wit and intelligence. Any idiot can yell "free food" in a bread line, and one apparently did.

Is there any way that they could delay some ones copy of poser by say one day?

Well, now they have announced the shipping date, so this Forum suddenly becomes relevant.
Mind you, I got a good laugh. Nothing wrong with a bit of simple teasing.
Oh, BTW, the official shipping date is the 20th with pre0order people being able to start downloading on the 11th of Dec.
(Well, except Mac users wh will have to wait for a further announcement... Poor Mac users, but at least their computers are pretty.)
Cheers.
modus0 posted Thu, 07 December 2006 at 10:37 PM
Actually, they'll be shipping for preorders starting the 11th as well, save for Mac users.

I have applied for the upgrade many times, each time the server tells me that my serial number is incorrect -Yet I have a receipt from e-frontier confirming that serial number!
I have e-mailed e-frontier without response. If the quality of the upgrade matches the quality of their customer service, it should be a hugely underwhelming release!

To be fair to e-frontier, I just got an e-mail saying that their serial recognition software has had a problem but is ok now. What's more I've finally had my serial accepted!

That's good news DigitalDreamer. I've heard that this was a common problem that they had, but they were aware of it. Too bad it still caused so many people problems.
