Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 29 1:45 am)
The dials should turn - I don't know what the problem is with that. It's possible that you have the Figure locked (under the Figure menu I believe) but that shouldn't be the default so I'd be surprised if that was the problem. You can double-click the dial - right in the center of it - and get a numerical entry box.
Before they made me they broke the mold!

OK, I have some more info here. I can pose the character just fine when I turn the dials. The problem is in the setup portion. When I click on the setup tab I get a pop-up that says:
This figure contains morph targets. Regrouping operations performed in setup mode could cause some morph targets to become unuseable.
Do I have my morphs in the wrong in the directory or something? Sorry guys.

You don't need to use the Setup room to do what your trying to do.
Just stick to the Pose and Material rooms until you get the hang of the basics.
lsample20, besides reading acadia's mini-tutorial, you want to browse through your Pose library via the library pull-out drawer on the right-hand side of your Poser workspace. You need to INJect the pose for the head or body feature you want to change. I think that's the link you're missing in your work-flow ?

I've actually had this problem numerous times with poser 6, even with the v3 injections loaded, I KNOW what you are talking about.
I can rotate dials to kingdom come for expressions, changes or muscles, even bigger chest......nada.
To fix this, click on ANOTHER body part, wait til you see it change to that body party (anything but what you really want to change) in the dial library (from "thigh" to say, "forearm", then go back and select the thigh, then try turning the dials again.
That usually fixes it for me. no CLUE why it does that, drives me crazy.

Hey guys, I am brand new to poser and I am having an issue. I purchased poser 6 and some packages like: victoria and goddess hair. My problem is this...
I can load the figure into the program fine, but I would like to start to make changes to the body for example. So, lets say that I want to make victoria's thighs huge. Well, I can click on the body part and I see the dials. When I move the dials though, I see no changes to the figure. How do I get the figure to actually change when I move the dials?
I'm sorry for this very newbie question, but I can't seem to figure this one out.
Thanks a ton guys!
