All needed polygons are in the proper place.
Am having great results with magnets, a wave, and grouping tool. I will have some morphs to share in a day or two. Will need a host? It's been so long on freestuff I can't remember how it all works. lol.
Will have, as per my tradition, a V4 Buffy morph before too long lol.

Are we talking Miki level of 'great results' or 'Arduino's Vicky 3 sets'?
I'd be pleased if it looked real from even a distance, which I've only seen in the eF figures so far.

Well, I'm still in the grouping and tooling process, haven't really played around with texturing just yet. I believe with textures and the morphs/material zones I'm making, that you'll be very satisfied. What I am seeing so far is better than any add-on or morphs I've seen thus far.
For one thing, the position and proportion is correct, which is a first as far as I'm concerned.

There is a very basic morph in the DAZ morph pack. Looks OK for a naked woman, instead of the default air-brushed Barbie. This is better than previous DAZ morph sets, and it's enough for a figure not to look wrong. You might have problems with putting your morphs up as freestuff here. There was a lot happened about a year ago, and the rules got a bit more restrictive. I think some merchants could have stayed, but decided to walk. Even links to obvious sites for rendered erotica are now frowned on.

You can certainly submit a genital morph in freestuff. Promo pics posted in the forums are fine as long as they're not "open crotch" shots... so if you stick to simple front-on or profile views without zooming in, that's fine for posting in here.
If you want to link to some offsite pics with more details, morph examples, etc, then that's fine as long as you clearly mark the link as nudity.

Karen, does that mean you can actually put up activel inks to sites or pictures that are of an adult nature? (To show morphing female genitals it's my understanding that you will need to show "open crotch" shots as well as zoomed in renders to show sufficient details.
So is it ok to link with a clickable link to such things, as long as it's stated that the link may not be for everybody?
Because to my understanding it's not allowed to link to sites like RM and Rotica with an active link regardless of whether you mark it with nudity or not, so I'm a tiny bit confuzzled now :)

It's my uderstanding, Trekkie, that you can't include a link to a site with a store if you're submitting a product to the MP but, since this is a freebie, and I don't have a store on my site yet, advertising and promos off-site are ok.

Well... we wouldn't allow a link to Renderotica or other sites which are age restricted.
However for my point of view, this would come under a sort of development umbrella, and should be treated differently to actual erotica/porn. Hmm... Perhaps the best solution would be a wireframe or untextured view for the more "internal"-type morphs.

Update:
I think I've taken it all as far as I can, and failed to get as far as I thought I would. Much variation is not possible, and this is where things get disappointing. In crucial areas, I'm working with as few as four polygons.
Tomorrow is a day off, and I will continue tinkering around with it. The focus will be on reworking the texture maps. I'm going to need to try very hard to remember how to do all of that lol.

I've heard there are others going along the same lines. I've been sick so I haven't had time to work on it like I wanted to. As it is, i think it's not too useful as morph(s) without the material groups to go with it

I got my ass in gear and here's the deal:
I've sent along the freestuff zip to Victoria for uploading to server. As soon as I hear from Victoria, I'll put it in freestuff.
What you get:
One Pz2 and one png.
The pz2 turns on Genital Crease, injects 10 CC morphs, turns one of them on, and creates several material zones so different color or texture variations can be applied.
I think it's pretty okay for free. Let me know how you like it here.

How did it mess up the parameter tree?
This file was made and tested in Poser 6., so can't imagine why it would hang your system.
Unless maybe you're not using the full Vic 4? It might loop endlessly if it doesn't find the injection channels or something like that.

Thanks! Very considerate of you. You hate to have an anatomically incorrect figure model.
Photopium posted Thu, 14 December 2006 at 11:08 PM
Okay, the reason it might hang is it's looking for high-res V4 maps. I thought I removed those reference calls, but evidently I missed something. Sorry about that.
As for not taking textures, I have found that they take textures just fine. I'm not sure what the problem is there. There is no change to UV's, so the only thing I can tell you is that the area is small and I wouldn't expect texturing to make a dramatic effect.

After my problems with Poser 6 hanging, I decided to try this in Poser 5 (loaded V4 and applied the morph) and found it was looking for the Standar Res (not Hi-Res) textures. (I purchased the Victoria Pro bundle and it comes with the Hi-Res textures. )
So.... Poser 6 hangs because it couldn't find the standard res whereas Poser 5 gave up and provided a dialog box for where to find V4StTorsoS.jpg.
I then purchased and installed the standard res textures from DAZ and it now works.
Thanks much to WTB for a fantastic job and others who helped resolve this.
I hope this helps others with the Poser 6 hangs.

Cool, I'm so glad everyone likes it. When people attempt this, someone invariably says "Hasn't the creator ever seen a vagina before???" So one worries, ya know.
the answer, of course, is not nearly enough. However, I think that this is the best we can hope for given the number of polygons in the area. For sure though, this was an intentional "gimmie" from DAZ, because the way they are laid out demands the morphs be made.
