Does anyone know if this will be feasible? It seems to me that, as long as I also move the associated materials and texture files, it should work OK. (Or if P7 allows using Wacros from a different runtime ... )

I would NOT just copy python scripts (especially commercial ones like Shader Spider and Wardrobe Wzard among others) without checking with the authors first.
I remember reading about new python additions in Poser 7, and since we already need different python versions for the 6.xx cycle, I would suspect we'll also need recompiled versions for P7 as well.
Example: Shader spider had a P6 version, and then an update for 6 sr2.. and the 6 sr3 version has been in beta testing for some time now.
Way too many people take way too many things way too seriously.

Poser 7 uses a later version of Python. This means that earlier Python PYC files will not work in Poser 7 . Its not a big deal. I will be issuing free Poser 7 updates for:-
Clothing Designer
OBJ2CR2 File Converter
Poser Tool Box
Rotoscoper
Scissors
Wardrobe Wizard
Some of these updates are already done. I may ask a few folks who have Poser 7 to double check that all is OK before doing a general release.
The free Poser 7 update for Wardrobe Wizard will also include the support files for SimonG2, Sydney G2, Ben2 and Kate2.
The only one that may not get updated is Clothing Creator. This because it is mostly superceeded by the Clothing Designer. This may change depending on feedback from existing users.
