Is it just me.. or... am I right in saying you can no longer delete figures and/or props from your scene with the keyboard 'delete' key and can only do it from the Figure and Object pull downs now..???

I have seen the same but it's intermittent. Sometimes it lets me, sometimes not (mostly not). I don't know the pattern yet.

For me it works, looks like p / saves content before deleting for the undu-function. So, for heavy figures, it will take some seconds.

I have just done a P7 restart and delete key works at the moment, but earlier, it had no effect at all. Could only delete stuff from top menus...

The Cloth room is clothifying figigures with multiple clothing item simulations for me. Just a dress worked fine, then just the pants. But adding a dynamic top after the pants and Sydney turns into Gumby!

If the library palette has focus, i.e. was the last place you clicked, then the delete key moves you up one level in the folder hierarchy.
To be sure of deleting, click somewhere else on the screen (P6 was the same).

@ nruddock... thanks, will check that out. I run dual screens and library folder is always open on one, so it could be that.

This little UI gem was annoying in P6, it's still an annoyance.

You know, I still have this problem (delete key stops working to delete an object or figure). This is even after selecting an object by clicking on it with the mouse, so I don't think it's that the library palette has focus.

but i found out if you change library (click on pose if in hair, etc) it suddenly works again

Same here, sometimes it works and some times...not so.
