Title say's it all.

Is there? I have really liked how well it works with the other figures.

Will it be a new plugin, which would not surprise me with the new mapping.

I think Dave mentioned january, but nothing more precise.

Bruno's right.  It will be available sometime in January after the production version of Vue 6 is released.  I have it working with V4 now - you can see several test renders of V4 here:

The V4 capability will be included as part of the SkinVue6 DAZ plugin, so it''s a free update.

Also, for you Poser character users out there, the SkinVue6 Poser plugin will include the G3 males, the new G2 poser characters (Sydney and Simon) and TeraiYuki2 - also as free updates to the plugins.

Sounds great, Will be waiting for the upgrade release. Thanks.

Very nice of you to give it for free, Dave.
PS: I'm still not sure about upgrading to P7.
Any thoughts, anyone?
No rush anyway, I want to wait for the box version, with a paper manual. ( but I won't buy it from e-frontier. Shipping to France is way too expensive, I'll wait for a retail version )

Dave thanks for the update

Just to be clear, there is no reason to wait on buying Skinvue 6 for compatibility with the new poser figures or V4.

When you have them ready all skinvue users will get that added for free?

dburdick posted Fri, 15 December 2006 at 4:03 PM

Rodino,

Yes, all SkinVue 6.0 users will get 6.1 as a free update from the C3D store for both the base product and any of the plugins you purchased.  This will always be true for any new DAZ and Poser characters going forward.  They will always be included in any update cycle as a free update

The 64-bit version of SkinVue won't be available until there is a 64-bit version of wxPython.   The e-on boys are looking into this and it is possible they will come up for a solution for this.  I've been begging them to include wxPython as part of the standard Vue release.

I've been away for awhile, any news on the updates yet?

dburdick posted Fri, 26 January 2007 at 3:36 AM

Whenever e-on decides to release the production version of Vue, SkinVue 6.1 will be available the same day.  I just need to make sure that everything works on the production version before releasing it, otherwise it could result in a patch update merry-go-round.

That's a smart thing to do. Thanks for the reply.
