Therer are a lot of things that can be done on the Materials Room in Poser 5 and Poser 6, but there's one awkwardness I've found. Some shader tricks need the same numerical value in several different node settings. There's a couple of tricks to get around this: Just use an Add math_function, for instance. But this, and a lot of other things, are easier to work with, six months later, if you could just change the label for a node. That is, the name in the top-bar. There are ways to do this by hand-editing the material file, and content creators have done this. But does Poser 7 have some simple way of changing the labels, so that instead of "math_function_27" I can just have something called "Stripe Width"?

ShaderWorks by semidieu will let you rename nodes as well as a few of other things. It's a standalone program, but it does require you to have Microsoft Framework 2.0 installed.
