Has the novelty of blogging worn off?
Other than myself there are only a handful of people posting in their blog "regularly". Many just use it announce their projects or ask program related questions.
Is the art of blogging dead? It would be just my luck because I'm always behind the times when it comes to technology and take forever to catch up, so I wouldn't be surprised if I missed the blogging fad.

I prefer using the DAZ ArtZone blog. It's got a lot more features than the one here.

I tried blogging (elsewhere), and lasted about a week. I can't seem to keep up any energy for writing when I'm just talking to myself... I do ever so much better in a forum, where I can interact with other people. In fact, I rarely post new threads, I'm almost always reacting to what someone else has posted first.

if it's true there are now >100,000,000 blogs world-wide, why would anybody expect us to read 'em? anyway, I don't. but I heartily endorse the concept of giving folks the freedom to have a blog, even if it's gonna be ignored.

I blog...in about 10 different places, including here  (that whole copy/paste thing is handy) I've met friends through blogging, and when somewhere I become a member of has blogging handy, I don't expect everyone to follow just me, lol. so, I keep everything else open ;)
