I'm a GrandPappy again! This is render #6 completed 48 hours ago. It's called Toby and came in at around 7.8 gigs..er...i mean lbs! Mother had to struggled with an emergancy c-section and is a little short of the red stuff but the prognosis is good. Toby is healthy and doing fine.

nice rendering, perfect anti-aliasing, very smooth skinning, great pose, no staring eyes,...  not bad at all even for a pro :-)

are you sure you want to call it rendering completed though? there's always some post work needed in my experience. You'll start experimenting with new clothing and decors, props... I think you have at least another 20-40 years of work planned here :-).... and just wait till you get into cloning and instancing!

ain't 3D great!

Woo Hoo! Congrats, but that was an awfully fast render, seems like just last week you were showing us those inutero pics and that it was a long ways from being done. Or are you render farming them?

This is one case where (TWIN) processors won't reduce the render time.

Congrats to all concerned on the result.

And as Brycetech noted, good thing it wasn't arriving by train.

So nice to see new life as the new year approaches.

Congratulations Bryster!

(Despite all the complications I too was lucky enough to get to see my newest grandaughter - such a nice feeling to have her lying on me fast asleep, feet tucked up and arms up by her head, looking for all the world like a tiny tortoise.  This it appears is now her nick-name.)
